Issue: A mid-size multinational pharmaceutical company that specializes in over the counter (non-prescription) products and has a sales force of 35 associates needed to increase sales levels at the point of sale, since the competition was affecting their market share.
Solution: The first thing we did was to join sales associates in their clients’ visits to understand what their current sales process was, several customers were visited to understand market needs, and we assessed the sales team training needs as well as the structure and incentives required. This was a business development program that included an improvement to the company’s value proposal to their customers, and we also carried out a series of customized training.
